What is The Human Mind Project?
The Human Mind Project is an interdisciplinary research hub that facilitates innovative approaches to the study of the mind. The Project highlights the importance of developing comprehensive, cross-disciplinary understandings of the mind and brain, integrating the sciences and humanities.
The Grand Challenges exercise is the first of its kind to be conducted across the mind and brain sciences. Through expert consultation, public participation, innovative group workshops and experiments in collective decision-making, the Grand Challenges aim to reach recommendations on what the major challenges in the study of the mind are, and how funders can support new styles of interdisciplinary research to address them.
